What does this role look like?
Responsible to position Lockheed Martin with meeting critical national priority AMTI (Air Moving Target Indicator) Mission needs.
Responsible for integration across the Air-Space Integration efforts within LM Space and alignment with other Business Areas within Lockheed Martin.
Responsible for leading Space enterprise efforts across multi0ple Mission Segments.
Coordinate with LM Space organizations to include the technology development organization and the Strategy and Business Development organization to in developing program opportunities.
Be responsible for the overall cost/schedule/technical execution of Customer Research And Development Programs and Programs of Record.
Lead the innovation and development of systems and products associated with needs of multiple customers.
Provide the product pull for LM Space to take advantage of the Amentum Rapid Solutions acquisition that is being integrated into Lockheed Martin.
Engage regularly with senior government officials as the face of AMTI for Lockheed Martin.
Stay up to date with relevant mission knowledge and have the ability and willingness to develop innovative approaches for satisfying the diverse customer requirements that are technically superior and efficient.
Assist with program capture activities.
Ensure Lockheed Martin business practices are followed and coordinate management, financial and technical reporting to the government customer.
Deliver a positive customer experience.

Basic Qualifications: To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications: 20+ years of space program leadership comprised of the disciplines of:
o Program Management
o Strategy and Business Development
o Control Account Management
o Supply Chain Management.
You will need to be a US Citizen, and
currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD TS/SCI clearance, with ability to obtain TS/SCI w/Poly, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Desired Skills: To be effective, ideally, you should also have: Previous experience managing a large program and/or portfolio in excess of $100M
Experience in developing innovative technologies and delivering to market.
Experience with space warfighting architectures.
Experience with rapid prototyping and demo class missions.
Experience with high rate production programs.
Completion of Program Management Development Program, Program Management Institute, or equivalent certification.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $180,000 - $287,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidates final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
