JOB TITLE: Warehouse Control
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
REPORTS TO: Department Engineer
POSITION TYPE: Full-time | On-site
POSITION OBJECTIVE:Ensure the efficient and accurate control of materials and equipment within the technical warehouse of the Engineering Department. The main role is to guarantee traceability, integrity, and the timely availability of inventory for projects and installations, in alignment with technical and quality procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Record all inbound and outbound materials and equipment in the system.
Coordinate with the Engineer to ensure the timely delivery of materials for projects.
Physically inspect materials upon receipt to ensure they meet technical specifications.
Perform cycle and full inventory counts, identifying discrepancies and reporting necessary adjustments.
Maintain warehouse organization in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Prepare technical reports on material consumption, excess, rotation, and expiration.
Apply quality management system policies in material handling.
Education:
High school diploma required (technical training in logistics, engineering, or a related field preferred).
Experience:
1–2 years of inventory control experience, preferably in technical or engineering environments.
Technical Skills:
Experience with inventory systems or ERP software.
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Ability to read technical work orders or requisitions.
Personal Skills:
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Responsible and discreet.
Effective communication and ability to follow technical instructions.
Capable of working under pressure and within a team environment.
Work performed in a technical warehouse environment.
Possible handling of heavy materials (use of protective equipment required).
Day shifts with occasional flexibility based on project needs.
