Are you ready to work in a friendly environment doing what you love? Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to process day-to-day bookkeeping functions and prepare tax return for their clients. • Oversee all monthly bookkeeping services for clients and perform part-time controllership services including reconciling bank statements, credit cards, fixed assets, and payroll
• Prepare partnership, S-corporation, C-corporation, and non-profit tax returns using Ultra Tax software.
• Prepare working trial balances and work papers in support of business income tax and financial statement preparation.
• Work with Secretary of State and IRS on entity formation, including Articles of Organization/ Incorporation, SS-4 forms for federal identification and S-Corp taxation.
• File annual statement of information for business clients with the Secretary of State.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on accounting and tax
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
• CPA license or EA a plus, candidates welcome
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online and Desktop
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook required
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Team player that can develop and maintain professional and working relationships
