*Job Summary*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess a strong understanding of speech therapy techniques. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders in students, with a focus on early intervention strategies. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with educators and parents to develop individualized treatment plans that support each child's communication needs.

*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech and language abilities.
* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
* Provide direct therapy services to children in various settings, including schools and acute care environments.
* Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
* Educate families on strategies to support communication development at home.
* Stay current on best practices in speech therapy and participate in ongoing professional development.

*Qualifications*
* Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant.
* Experience working with children, particularly in school settings or early intervention programs.
* Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pediatrics related to speech therapy.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and educational staff.
* Previous experience in acute care settings is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour
