Job Description

The Plant Operator is responsible for the execution of basic production in the Thermo Plastic and/or Paint Department. Responsibilities include understanding and executing production tasks such as podium, cat walk, bagging, cutting, wrapping, mixing and filling line operations. The operator must operate machinery according to the operations manual, best practices, and directions provided, including proper settings, calibrations, troubleshooting, maintenance, quality, and production output of the equipment. Compliance with all company policies and guidelines and assisting in maintaining a safe environment are required. Additional duties may be assigned by the Lead or Plant Manager. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience preferred, ability to follow verbal and written directions, ability to earn forklift certification, physical ability to push, pull, lift 50 lbs., and stand up to 11 hours daily. Frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration is expected. The role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship or relocation assistance.
