Job Title : Manufacturing Engineer

• Experience with composite materials and manufacturing processes

Job Description:

• Client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Composites with aerospace/defense experience to support the design and manufacturing of advanced composite components.
• The role involves CAD/CAM work in NX, laser projection support using Fibersim and Virtek, and hands-on troubleshooting with manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CAD/CAM work in NX within a classified office environment
• Create Fibersim-based layup and laser projection files
• Provide floor support for Virtek LaserEdge and machine-related issues
• Develop assembly models and nesting files for ply cutting (TruNest preferred)
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve production challenges

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Siemens NX for CAD modeling and CAM operations (Required)
• Experience with composite materials used in aerospace/defense systems (Required)
• Strong troubleshooting experience with composite manufacturing processes (Required)
• Fibersim or NC programming experience is a plus
• Active Secret Clearance required
