Are you ready to go beyond?What You Will DoPratt & Whitney Hot Section Engineering (HSE) is seeking a proactive, goal oriented, and detail-focused project engineer to work on either Commercial or Military engine program supporting the future of the P&W engine business for decades to come. In this role you'll be responsible for program task execution on the HSE hardware. You will perform the following task, planning and scheduling engineering changes as well as plan and manage budget for all hardware and tasks.Key Responsibilities:Identify and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.Prepare/present status and technical content to HSE Leadership, CIPT, and Pratt & Whitney Upper Management.Initiate and manage hardware procurement/industrial effort as the engineering technical contact.Coordinate evaluation and disposition of quality non-conformances and supplier requests for information.Qualifications You Must HaveBachelor’s degree in Engineering8 years of experience in engineering with a bachelor’s degree and 5 with an advanced degreeU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.Qualifications We PreferBachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.Experience working in the Aerospace Industry, specifically gas turbine engines, is highly desirable.Demonstrated effectiveness in working across functions, organizations, and management.Excellent communication skills, including verbal, technical writing, and engineering presentations to all levels.Working proficiency with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, MS Project / scheduling software.Working knowledge of project management.What We OfferBenefitsRelocation AssistanceLearn More & Apply Now!Hot Section Engineering (HSE)Hot Section Engineering is responsible for the design, development, technology maturation and in service support of all diffuser cases, combustors, turbines (vanes, blades, rotors and cases), augmenters (military), nozzles and associated fuel systems for all military, commercial and industrial engine models and radial auxiliary power units.Technical disciplines in HSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Durability and Product Definition.What is my role type?In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is:Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
