Robert Half has partnered with a growing manufacturing company in Madison that is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic  Financial Analyst to join their team. This position plays a key role in delivering data-driven insights to improve financial performance and operational efficiency. Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth
  • Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Maintain compliance with GAAP, ensuring all financial practices align with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in manufacturing, procurement, and operations to analyze financial impact and optimize cost efficiency
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
  • Evaluate capital expenditures and project costing to ensure maximum ROI for manufacturing investments
  • Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives related to financial reporting and analysis
  • Assist with audits and tax filings to ensure accuracy and compliance with both internal policies and external regulation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with  GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Proficiency with advanced Excel functions and financial modeling tools
  • Strong communication skills to present complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or similar industries is a plus
  • Highly analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
