The Data Engineer will assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure that power insights-driven solutions. The role involves collecting, transforming, and storing data from diverse sources, ensuring its quality, accessibility, and reliability for analysis and decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Analyze user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance, analyze workload and computer usage, maintain system interfaces, analyze downtimes, and evaluate system modifications, upgrades, and COTS solutions. Define problems, develop system requirements, and create program specifications for detailed flow charts, programs, and tests. Coordinate with programmers to ensure proper implementation of system specifications. Develop system solutions in collaboration with functional users. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask), JavaScript (Node.js, Express, Vue, Svelte, React), and Java (Spring Boot). Experience developing AWS cloud solutions focusing on data services like S3, RDS, and EMR. US Citizenship with an active Secret or interim Secret clearance. The estimated salary range is $90,000 - $115,000, depending on experience, expertise, certifications, and clearance level. The primary work location is the Washington DC Metro area.
